We were on a vacation in Maine and on this particular day we were doing a several mile hike. I remember that I was extremely sweaty, tired, and definitely NOT expecting for David to get down on one knee! we were at the top of the water falls and David wanted me to jump over rushing water to get onto a big rock, I said heck no (dont blame me, I was scared!). So we hiked all the way back down the trail and before getting back into the van, David pulled me over to the lowest water fall. I could tell something was off, he was extremely nervous of course and then eventually got down on one knee!

Definitely a sweet proposal that had me in tears, of course we have no photos of it because it was in a prvate setting but it was a very intimate moment that I will cherish forever!
